The colour system
Six cards. Nothing outside them.
Every piece in the range belongs to exactly one of six colour cards. That is the whole mechanism: it is why a shirt bought in March still works with a trouser bought in October, and it is why the pairing count on each product page can be an actual number rather than a guess.

Oat White

A warm off-white, not a blue-white. Opacity is disclosed on every SL-02 piece because light passes through pale cloth.

Deep Ink

The darkest card. Reads near-black indoors and blue-grey in daylight.

Ash Blue

A desaturated blue that behaves like a neutral. The only card carrying visible hue in the cool family.

Each card is always shown with its code and its name in text as well as the swatch itself, so nothing on this site depends on being able to tell two colours apart.
The pairing rule
Two pieces combine when their colour cards combine and the layers can be worn at the same time. Same-card combinations always hold. Across cards, only the ten combinations in this table hold — anything absent is treated as not combining. We would rather undercount than tell you two pieces go together when we have not checked.

What your screen shows is not what the cloth is
Every colour on this page is rendered by your display, and no two displays agree. Panel technology, brightness, colour profile, night-shift settings and the light in your room all change what SL-05 Camel looks like to you. The hex values we publish are the values we design to, not a promise about what you will see.
Two things follow. First, judge a card against the woven swatch photograph rather than against the flat hex block, because the photograph carries the texture that changes how a colour reads at arm’s length. Second, if the exact tone matters to you — matching an existing suit, for example — ask us for swatches before ordering.
Swatch requests
We will post a set of all six cards as fabric swatches, free, anywhere we ship. Email our support team with your address and say which cards you want. There is no charge and no obligation to order.
Dye lots
Cloth is dyed in batches. Pieces from different production runs of the same card can differ very slightly. Where a piece is a noticeably different depth from the rest of its card we say so on that product page rather than leaving you to find out when the second piece arrives.
